Workforce Resource is a private non-profit corporation working in the nine county West Central Wisconsin Workforce Development Area. Since its creation, it has managed the region’s Job Training Partnership Act, Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act, numerous programs associated with AFDC and TANF, a variety of state and federal discretionary and demonstration grant programs and numerous private foundation and revenue generating projects. Workforce Resource assists businesses with talent procurement, preparation and retention needs. This is accomplished through disseminating labor market information, rapid response assistance, and work skills training resources, disability navigator, youth program, and others. Job seekers are provided with seeking and training assistance and resources, veterans programs, youth resources, and resources for individuals with disabilities.
