Program Details

Created by the WEDC, DWD and WI Department of Tourism, WI Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Military Affairs, in partnership with Wisconsin System universities, the marketing campaign targets millennials, military veterans, and university alumni to attract them to Wisconsin. The campaign markets Wisconsin as a more affordable place to live, with less traffic time allowing for an individual to spend their time enjoying quality of life activities.

Target issue and group: Talent attraction and retention; Millennials, veterans (specifically in the Twin Cities), and alumni

Scope: Western Wisconsin and Twin Cities

Responsible organizations: WEDC, DWD, WI Department of Tourism, WI Department of Veterans Affairs and WI Department of Military Affairs, in partnership with Wisconsin System Universities; AB 811 passed. The Chamber is meeting with WEDC to discuss the Chamber’s role in coordinating with the campaign.
